Hi,

Can anyone help me identify the bronze in the photos.

I bought it from an art dealer shop. He said it was Florentine and circa 17th century.

Looking at the head, it appears to be a Florentine 'big head' (Zuccone) style but I cannot find any inscriptions on a factory or who made it. Also, I find it curious that the boy is not looking straight ahead, but looking to the side.

I have also taken a couple of photos under the base, there seems to be some clay/sandy residue stuck to some of the crevices inside.

Any more information on how it was made, style or if anyone has seen similar would be greatly appreciated.
