I recently purchased the "Spirit of Wind" sculpture and was wonder if anyone knew where I could get the history of these statues (http://www.allsculptures.com), how many were made and potential as a collection. I have searched the web and have found only sale information.
Thanks,

Mary, welcome to the new AllSculptures.com Collectors forum. Genesis Fine Arts produces both open edition and limited edition sculptures, but mainly limited editions. Many pieces are inspired by Celtic folklore and tales. Spirit of the Wind was a limited edition piece of 5000. If you purchased your piece new and in the box, you should have received a certificate of authenticity. The certificate would state the name of the piece and the number of your piece in the edition. Genesis Fine Arts is popular with the European collectors and continues to gain popularity in the U.S. Genesis has only been showing in the US for about 10 years. Usually the limited editions are limited to 5000 pieces world-wide. The heirloom quality and aesthetic beauty of Genesis sculptures should lend itself to long term appeal amongst collectors and enthusiasts.

Mary,
In the UK Genesis Fine Arts is quite popular. If you ever holiday across the pond you should take a tour of there facility in Mullingar. It is very impressive, you really learn to appreciate how they bring these pieces to life.
