ID help please 1963 greek/roman man

Hi,
I have this figure and would like to know who he is. I think it is 1963. Sculpture is Michel *nge? He has a bit of damage and I would like to know if it is worth having him fixed. He is a roman/greek guy, he is sitting and he has a sword or long pole thing resting on his knee.

Hi,
Am I correct to think that this is a very common sculpture or is it the case that no-one knows the name. Some help would be good as otherwise he could end up in the rubbish. Directions to a collectors site of some sort would also be a help
