Guillermoro Forchino (http://www.allsculptures.com/guillermo-forchino.php)- "Military Jeep" or "Jeep Militaria"
Estimated Secondary Market Value $275-$325
When I was a child, my old little tin soldiers with flaking paint were kept in a cardboard case and it was rather heavy when I took it to my cousin’s house. Together with my cousin Guy, we spent hours and hours arranging the décor of hills and trees.
The trenches were made of little sacks filled with sand. The barracks and garages were topped with pieces of wood. A huge red cross marked the hospital.
Among our characters there were two nurses, and we decided that they were our fiancées. I played that I was the little soldier with the helmet, fully covered with scratches.
Once we put it all together it was almost time to go home, but that didn’t matter. We spent some three or four very happy hours. And with those moments in mind, I made this completely beat-up Jeep, loaded with a bunch of soldiers with damaged helmets.
