My husband and I purchased a sculpture some years ago and have just started to become interested in the specifics. The sculpture it's self has "Austin Prod. Inc 24" carved or etched into the bottom near the base. But there is a card taped to the bottom of the base giving information on Kathy Klein...which I assume to seller though was the correct sculptress. I have searched for anything under that name and have come up empty handed.
So, I am wondering if there is any way I can find out if this is legit or a good copy? I searched through the listing on the site and came up empty...the closest it resembles in ID#AP1455; a man and woman in embrace.
I am new here so I don't know if it's ok to post a few pics or not--but I am posting a few just in case. If anyone could help me out, I would appreciate it. No, I am not looking to sell but would love to have the information regarding the sculpture and some idea what to insure it for if it is over and beyond what we paid.
